Prior to treatment your therapist will review your goals for the session and any contraindications/modifications needed to ensure your safety whilst achieving the best results. Communication is key! If anything was missed during intake, please share with your therapist any modifications to the information provided upon intake.

Upon gaining agreement that the LMT is fully informed and has your consent to continue care, you will be left to undress to your level of comfort then lay down under the top sheet and blanket provided.

Clients must remain under sheet the entirety of the session.  No exceptions.  Only the portion of the body receiving bodywork will be exposed at any given time.

Your therapist will knock and request access to the room. If you are comfortable and covered, please issue audible permission to enter the space.

It is common for the therapist to inquire about your preferences for pressure (turn it up/down) and overall comfort. Your time on the table may also include educational instruction (stretching, feedback about findings during the session, recommendations/referrals, etc.).

Upon completion, your therapist will request that you take your time getting up. Some patients feel light headed and/or disoriented if they get up too fast. Please, take your time!
